After all the waiting over the winter, the season commenced at the end of March with 2 rounds of Locost racing on the Silverstone National Circuit. We left our sunny little Island with high expectations but it would turn out to be a long weekend attemtping to salvage some championship points. Here’s the lowdown on the weekend events…..
March was upon us already and with only 3 weeks to go until the start of the race season, a pre season shakedown was on the cards, for Silverstone GP Circuit.
Thomas Cowley spent the weekend with us, capturing the spirit of the event. He did a sterling job, flitting about the garage, pit lane and pretty much the entire circuit to document the event. He has produced an outstanding video of the event:

The Season Finale took place on the weekend of the 9th October at Cadwell Park. A very busy weekend with prctice, 2 heats and 2 finals all in one day, and challenging conditions to contend with too.
Another trek and another ferry from the sunny Isle of Wight and we had arrived in Pembrey for the Friday testing. A few other locosts had the same idea, hoping to set their cars up for the weekend on a circuit that is more interesting than at first appearance.
